The Retro Store is not currently operating: its website at theretro.co.uk no longer loads and shows only a hosting error page, so there is no way to sign up, manage a subscription or contact the team through it. When it was running, it was a vinyl record subscription aimed at shoppers in the UK, sending records to members on a repeating basis for people who wanted to build a collection without choosing every title themselves. With the website offline, details such as how records were picked, which genres were covered, what a delivery cost and how often it arrived are not available, so we cannot comment on value or curation. If you were a subscriber, check your bank or card statements for any repeat payments to the service, and speak to your card provider if charges continue now that the site is gone. Anyone looking for a vinyl subscription today is better served by a service that is still trading, with a working website, clear pricing and an easy way to pause or cancel. A record club can be a good way to discover music, but only when you can reach the people running it.
