What's in the box: A surprise assortment of name brand survival, camping and EDC gear such as medical supplies, radios, stoves, water filters and, at higher tiers, tents, sleeping bags and survival meals.
Steel to Reel Club is a US based survival and prepper gear subscription that says its items are hand-picked by veterans and survival experts. Although it is listed under hunting, its focus is broader: emergency preparedness, camping and everyday carry gear rather than hunting-specific equipment. There are several tiers. Survivor Plus adds medical supplies, radios and deep woods camping equipment, with 4 to 7 items, at $64.99 monthly, or $49.99 per month on a 12 month plan. Survivor Pro adds backpacks, stoves, water purification systems and medical kits, with 6 to 12 items, at $129.88 monthly or $98.99 per month on an annual plan. Survivor Elite is a quarterly box at $399.99, or $324.98 per quarter on a four quarter plan, with 8 to 15 or more items that can include tents, sleeping bags, solar packs, survival meals and inflatable watercraft. A base Survivor tier is referenced, but the site does not state its price. The company promises name brand gear rather than knockoffs, claims at least 30% more value than you pay, and offers a 100% money back guarantee. Those value claims are hard to check before buying, and because contents are a surprise, you may receive gear you already own. Longer commitments bring real savings, and annual Pro and four quarter Elite plans include a free Survivor Plus box.
