HuntVault

What's in the box: A monthly mix of hunting and outdoor gear built around one feature item, such as the November box's HuntVault waterproof case.

HuntVault is a US hunting subscription that ships a collection of outdoor gear each month. It mixes products from well known brands with smaller labels. Its main plan is called ELITE 365 and is listed at $150.00. The site's front page does not say whether that price covers one box or a longer term, so check before you commit. The company says every box is worth more than you pay and values the November ELITE box at $275 or more. That is the company's own estimate, not what the items would resell for, so treat it with some caution. The November box is built around a HuntVault branded waterproof case, so some feature items are house brand gear rather than big names. New ELITE 365 members get a free welcome box that ships before their first regular box. Active members are also entered into giveaways, and the current prize is a Matthews Lift X bow with case. A Benchmade knife is promised for a future box. The site also sells its own Hunt Coffee line. The site does not explain whether boxes are tailored to your hunting style, what the cancellation terms are, or how shipping works, so read the terms and FAQ first. Hunters who enjoy surprise gear and a shot at a big prize may have fun with it. If you want specific items, you will probably do better buying them directly.
