What's in the box: Each month brought one sample of a designer or niche fragrance that the member chose, and every quarter a reusable protective case for the sample came too.

Luxury Scent Box is not operating normally under its original address, as luxuryscentbox.com now redirects to luxsb.com. It was a US monthly perfume subscription with a single plan, last listed at $16.95 a month, and an option to prepay for account credit. Members chose a fragrance from a catalog of designer, niche and some exclusive brands. They could also fill a fragrance calendar to control what arrived each month. A fragrance survey gave recommendations to people who were not sure where to start. Premium and Ultra-Premium scents cost extra in the months they shipped, so the advertised monthly price was not always the full cost. Shipping was listed as free, and orders went out 5 to 10 business days after billing. The company also sent a reusable protective case for the sample every quarter, in February, May, August and November. Featured houses included Memo Paris, Juliette Has a Gun, Maïssa Paris, Buchart Colbert and Ormonde Jayne. The brand said its sample was one of the largest sizes in perfume subscriptions, but the site does not state the exact volume. The original site no longer works as a storefront of its own. If you have an older account or a gift, check with the company about its current status before expecting further deliveries.
