Olfactif is a US niche fragrance subscription. Danielle Fleming of Noteology acquired it in 2018, and it is still running its monthly sample box in 2026. Each month members get a curated collection of 3 or 6 premium fragrances, chosen with perfumers from around the world. The aim is to move you away from mass market department store scents and toward houses you are less likely to have tried. Plans start at $22 per month, and subscription boxes ship free within the US. Much of the value comes after you find something you like. Members get 20% off full bottles of featured scents, 10% off other full bottles and a la carte samples, and they earn rewards points. You can change, swap or pause at any time, which helps if you don't want new scents every month. The shop also sells pocket sized samples, 5 ml deluxe decants, discovery sets and full bottles. The site mentions an in-store visit option too, so the box works as an entry point to a wider retailer. The downsides are real. A sample box is better for testing than for daily wear, and the focus on niche houses may not suit people who prefer familiar designer fragrances. Free shipping is only stated for the US, which limits its appeal elsewhere.
