Bowhunter Box Club is a monthly subscription for bowhunters, not hunters in general. Each box promises at least $60 to $70 worth of products, with examples ranging from broadheads to scent control, so the point is to try gear you might use in the field. Month to month billing is $40. Prepaid plans of 3, 6 and 12 months cost a little less, and the annual plan works out to 12 months for the price of 11. All plans renew automatically, so watch your renewal dates if you only want a short trial. A separate VIP Pass Thru Club costs $89 a year. It adds a 20% store discount, discount codes from partner brands, access to larger discounted items and entry into monthly giveaways. The site does not say which brands you can expect, and parts of the VIP description still mention giveaways from 2017, so it is hard to tell how current those perks are. Check what the VIP add on actually offers today before you pay for it. If you are a bowhunter who likes sampling new accessories and you don't mind the occasional miss, the core box is a simple, focused choice. If your setup is already dialed in, the value may be harder to justify.
