Tackle Monkey

What's in the box: When it operated, a box typically held a selection of fishing tackle such as lures and small terminal gear.

Tackle Monkey is no longer operating, and its website no longer loads, so we cannot recommend ordering from it. When it was running, Tackle Monkey offered a fishing subscription for US anglers. It sent a recurring box of tackle so subscribers could try new gear without hunting for it in stores. The idea matched other fishing boxes: a curated mix of fishing gear such as lures and small tackle items, picked to help anglers try baits they might not buy on their own. The company no longer shares details such as pricing, plan options, or whether boxes were tailored to a species or region, so we cannot confirm them. If you placed an order or still have an active subscription, check your bank or card statements for recurring charges. Contact your card issuer if you are billed for boxes that never arrive. Anglers who want a similar experience should look at fishing boxes that are shipping now and have working websites, clear cancellation terms, and recent customer feedback. Until Tackle Monkey shows clear signs of coming back, treat it as closed. We will update this review if the service comes back online and runs normally again.
