Little Box of Books

Moved. The old site now redirects to dot-book.org.

What's in the box: When it ran, each delivery contained a selection of children's books chosen to suit the child's age.

Little Box of Books is not currently operating. Its web address now leads to a parked domain page that is up for sale, and that page shows an unrelated general article about book subscriptions instead of a shop. When it was running, it was a UK children's book subscription that posted a selection of books to families. The aim was to help children build a home library and find new titles suited to their age. The appeal was simple: books chosen by someone else arrived at the door, which could make reading feel like a treat. Today there is no working shop, account login, customer service contact or way to manage an existing subscription. If you think you still have a recurring payment set up with the company, check your bank or card statements and ask your bank to cancel it if needed. We would not advise signing up or paying anything through the old address, because the original business no longer controls the domain. Families who want something similar have other choices, including other UK children's book subscriptions, local bookshop schemes and public libraries. Libraries lend books for free and often run reading challenges for children. If Little Box of Books comes back under its own name, we will review it again.
