everdrop

What's in the box: Refill tablets or powders for cleaners, laundry detergent, or dishwasher tabs, depending on which products you choose to receive regularly.

everdrop sells household cleaning products designed to cut plastic waste and shipping weight. The core idea is concentrated tablets and powders that you dissolve in water at home in reusable bottles. The range also includes laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, cleaning stones and pastes, and a small body care line. Regular buyers can set up recurring refill deliveries, which is where the subscription side comes in. The brand is unusually open about how it works. Its site has sections on ingredients, supply chain, CO2 footprint, packaging and recycling, a life cycle assessment, and even a page listing its own wins and failures. It is a certified B Corp, and its full laundry detergent was the only one of 28 rated "sehr gut" (very good) in an Öko-Test comparison. That is a meaningful independent result in Germany. Customer ratings are not uniformly strong. The cleaning paste and laundry detergents score well, while the dishwasher tabs have noticeably weaker average ratings. The site is in German and built around the German market, so shoppers elsewhere should check delivery before committing. Some bundles and accessory sets cost far more than the refills themselves. Overall, this is a credible, well documented choice for households that want to cut waste from cleaning without giving up results.
