What's in the box: When it operated, a box usually held a mix of seasonal organic fruit and vegetables, and customers could add other grocery items.

Door to Door Organics is no longer operating. The company shut down abruptly on November 17, 2017, after it failed to raise funding, and it did not warn customers beforehand. When it was running, it was a US home delivery service for organic fruit and vegetables. It sent boxes of fresh produce to subscribers on a regular schedule. Customers could usually adjust what went into their box, and the service also sold other grocery items alongside the produce. The sudden closure is the main thing to know. Subscribers lost their deliveries without notice, which shows that a recurring order is only as reliable as the company behind it. The doortodoororganics.com domain now belongs to an online gambling website in Indonesian. That site has nothing to do with the original produce company. Do not create an account, log in, or enter payment details there. If you want something similar, look for an organic produce subscription that is active in your area now. Make sure it clearly lists its delivery zones and cancellation terms, and confirm it is taking orders before you commit. We do not recommend trying to sign up for Door to Door Organics, because the box no longer exists.
