Alpha Outpost

Closed. The domain now belongs to an unrelated website; the subscription box is no longer running. Most recent box reviews found are from 2016, though one directory still lists it as verified since 2023.

What's in the box: When it was running, each box held a selection of survival, emergency preparedness and outdoor gear suited to camping, hunting or emergency kits.

Alpha Outpost has shut down, and alphaoutpost.com now belongs to an unrelated website about online casinos, so you can no longer subscribe or order through it. When it was running, Alpha Outpost was a US subscription box for people interested in emergency preparedness, survival and outdoor activities such as hunting. Each shipment held a few gear items on that theme, the kind of tools and supplies you might put in a bug-out bag, a vehicle kit or a hunting pack. Much of the appeal was discovery. Subscribers got to try products they might not have picked for themselves and could build up a preparedness kit a little at a time. The most recent subscriber reviews we could find are from 2016, which suggests the service stopped around then or soon after. One directory still lists it as verified, but that listing looks out of date. If you see the name, treat it as a service from the past and not something you can buy today. Be careful with any site on the old domain, because it has nothing to do with the original box. If you want something similar, look for a survival or outdoor gear subscription that is still running, and read recent reviews before you sign up.
