Zatu Games Subscription Boxes

What's in the box: The site does not state what a subscription box typically contains, though the wider store sells board games, card games, miniatures, puzzles and accessories.

Zatu Games is a well established UK online retailer best known for discounted board games, and its shop now stretches into trading card games, miniatures, Warhammer, Pokémon, LEGO, puzzles and books. The catch for anyone looking for a subscription box is that the site leads with its regular store rather than a recurring box. The navigation highlights a UK Top 20 chart, pre-orders, an Editor's Choice list, a BGG Top 100 section, a blog, events and a Victory Points loyalty scheme, but the site does not clearly state what a subscription box includes, how often it ships or what it costs. If you want a regular surprise delivery, check the box terms carefully before signing up. Where Zatu does shine is range and value. Many popular titles such as Carcassonne, Cascadia, Sky Team and The Quacks of Quedlinburg are listed below their recommended retail price, and multi-buy codes give a small extra saving on larger orders. The store also reports a 4.8 average score across more than 48,000 customer reviews, which suggests reliable service overall. For shoppers who already know what they want, buying straight from the catalogue may suit better than a subscription. For those who want some curation, the Editor's Choice and chart pages offer a lighter alternative.
