Vinebox is not operating normally at its original address: getvinebox.com now redirects to vinebox.com, and the original wine-by-the-glass subscription is reported to have closed, with no closure date given. When it ran, Vinebox sent wine tastings in small glass tubes rather than full bottles. Each box held six sommelier-curated wines in 100 ml tubes, so you could sample several styles without committing to a whole bottle. Boxes came with tasting notes, a pairing guide and sommelier-led virtual tasting videos, and each monthly collection was meant to be available for that month only. The brand was also known for 12 Nights of Wine, a holiday wine advent calendar. The vinebox.com site still displays monthly tasting boxes, subscription plans and the advent calendar, so the brand's situation looks changed and unclear rather than simply finished. Because of these mixed signals, we are not rating Vinebox and do not suggest signing up for a subscription until you confirm directly with the company what is actually being sold and shipped. The site states that its wines are under 15% ABV, that buyers must be 21 or older, and that it ships only where the law permits.
