UrbanStems

What's in the box: Each delivery is a designer-arranged bouquet of fresh seasonal flowers, with a vase included on the first subscription send.

UrbanStems is a US online florist that sells one-off bouquets, plants and gifts alongside a recurring flower subscription. The subscription is the part most relevant to this directory. The site says plans start at $60 with free shipping on every delivery, and that subscribers can save up to 30% and receive a vase with the first send. That makes it a reasonable choice for someone who wants fresh flowers on a schedule without reordering each time, or who wants to set up a standing gift for someone else. The company says its in-house floral designer works directly with farms to create its arrangements. Its catalog leans toward named, designed bouquets rather than loose stems, and seasonal ranges such as fall flowers rotate through. Same-day delivery is offered in eight major cities: NYC, DC, LA, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas and Boston. Gift add-ons such as wine and Levain cookies are also available. Customer ratings shown on individual bouquets mostly sit in the mid 4 range, with some variation between arrangements, so results are not identical across the range. Pricing is above supermarket flowers, so the value depends on how much you care about design, consistency and the convenience of scheduled delivery.
