The Vegan Kind

Closed. The website no longer loads (HTTP 404). Entered administration in October 2022 and announced the wind-down of its subscription box and online supermarket in November 2022.

What's in the box: When it operated, a typical box held a mix of vegan snacks, cupboard foods and other plant based products, often from smaller brands.

The Vegan Kind is no longer operating. It entered administration in October 2022 and in November 2022 announced that its subscription box and online supermarket were winding down. When it ran, it was a British service built around a regular box of vegan products. It was aimed at people who wanted to try new plant based snacks and groceries without searching for them in shops. Boxes mixed sweet and savoury snacks, cupboard foods and other vegan items, often from smaller brands. Alongside the subscription, the company also ran an online vegan supermarket. During its years of operation it was one of the better known names among UK vegan boxes. The old web address no longer shows the original site. When we checked, it showed a page not found error from a different online shop called Kiuki, run by Kiuki Ltd. Nothing on that page links it to the original business, so readers should not assume Kiuki took over from The Vegan Kind. They also should not expect to manage an old subscription, order or refund there. Anyone with questions about a past order would need to go through the administration process, not the current website. We do not recommend trying to subscribe, and we have not given a rating because there is no active service to assess.
