Texas Hill Country Olive Co. Olive Oil Club

What's in the box: Shipments most likely feature the company's own extra virgin olive oils, possibly with its vinegars or infused oils, but the site does not spell out what each box contains.

Texas Hill Country Olive Co. makes and sells its own extra virgin olive oils. The shop also carries balsamic vinegars, infused oils, dips and olives, and the company runs an Olive Oil Club for repeat buyers. Its main oils include Sola Stella, Texas Miller's Blend, Terra Verde, Super Greek and The Spaniard, and the company says its oils have won awards. You can also buy a fresh harvest selection, gift boxes and corporate gifts, and you can visit in person. That makes this an established producer, not a startup reselling generic oil. The store shows a large number of customer reviews with a very high average rating, which points to steady quality. The weak spot for a subscription shopper is how little the club pages explain. The site does not clearly say what each club shipment contains, how often it ships, or how pausing and canceling work. Read the club page and its terms before you sign up. If you cook with good olive oil every day and want a steady supply from a US producer, this is a sensible pick. If you want to taste oils from many countries and brands, a box that gathers several producers may suit you better.
