Ownership. Acquired by Love With Food in June 2015.

What's in the box: There is no physical box; the site offers a free five-day dinner plan with printable recipes and a generated shopping list.

If you're looking for a gluten-free snack box under the Taste Guru name, you should know what the site offers today. Love With Food acquired Taste Guru in June 2015, and tasteguru.com no longer presents itself as a subscription box. It is now a recipe and meal planning site built around a simple idea: plan a week of dinners in advance, shop once over the weekend, and spend about half an hour cooking each night. The site posts a five-day dinner menu with options to print the recipes and generate a shopping list. A free sign-up unlocks all of the site's features. One spring menu included Middle Eastern beef kabobs, cauliflower risotto with BBQ tempeh, roasted pesto salmon, a quinoa bowl with black beans and plantains, and weeknight BBQ chicken. The site describes its recipes as healthy, organic, kosher and quick, but it does not label them as gluten free, so if you avoid gluten you will need to check each recipe yourself. The newest articles and the copyright date are from 2020, which suggests the site is no longer updated. Nothing ships to your door, and the site does not mention a paid plan. If you want a physical gluten-free box, look elsewhere. If you just want free dinner ideas, it may be worth a quick look.
