Closed.The website no longer loads. Bikerumor launched this monthly sample box in late 2012 (first boxes January 2013), and I found no later coverage or closure notice.

Schwagbox is no longer operating, and its website at schwagbox.com no longer loads. Bikerumor, the cycling news site, launched it in late 2012 as a monthly sample box, and the first boxes went out in January 2013. Each month, subscribers got a box of sample products from cycling brands. That gave riders a cheap, low risk way to try things they might not have bought on their own. Because Bikerumor already covered new products from across the bike industry, the box had some credibility with enthusiasts who followed that coverage. There was never a widely reported closure announcement, so it is unclear exactly when shipments stopped. Today there is no working way to subscribe, manage an account, or reach the service through its site. If you had an old subscription, there is nothing left to renew or cancel through the website. If you want a cycling subscription now, choose a box that is clearly shipping today and has a working site and current contact details. Schwagbox is worth remembering as an early try at curated cycling samples, but you cannot use it now and should not try to sign up.
