Riftgate Dice Club

What's in the box: The site does not list what each shipment contains, but the club comes from a store that specializes in themed polyhedral dice sets.

Riftgate is a game retailer with stores in Provo and Murray, Utah. It sells trading card games, board games, miniature and war games, role playing games, accessories and a wide range of dice. Its Dice Club is listed with the regular store products and starts at $9.99, which makes it one of the cheaper ways to get a recurring dice delivery. The shop also sells a Mystery Dice Booster Pack at $9.99 and themed sets such as resin mushrooms, koi fish, penguins and a beholder's eye. Those sets give you a good idea of the playful style the club is likely to draw from. The weak point is how little the site says about the club itself. It does not explain how often you are billed, how many dice come in each shipment, whether you can choose themes, or how to pause or cancel. Canadian shoppers should know that Riftgate is a US store. The site does not clearly state its international shipping terms or which currency it charges in, so check both at checkout before you subscribe. The store does offer free 30 day returns on most items and a satisfaction guarantee, and you can reach it at hello@riftgate.com. If you roll dice often and want a cheap, low risk way to grow your collection, it is worth trying. If you want a full box of tabletop extras, look elsewhere.
