Parachut

Closed. The name now leads to unrelated content; the box is no longer running.

What's in the box: When it ran, the boxes were built around photography and film, but the site no longer says what they contained.

Parachut is no longer running as a subscription box. Its parachut.co address now leads to an unrelated blog about apps and messaging, with nothing about photography. When it was running, Parachut was a US subscription box for photography and film, aimed at people who wanted regular deliveries tied to their hobby. The site no longer says what went into each shipment, how often boxes went out, or which plans were available, so we can't confirm those details today. The current site has no way to subscribe, manage an account or reach the original team, and none of its content relates to the old service. If you subscribed in the past and have a question about an old order, your bank or card records are more reliable than anything on the domain now. If you want film or photography supplies on a regular schedule, choose a service that is still running and clearly shows its contents, pricing and cancellation terms before you sign up. Don't try to sign up or pay for anything through parachut.co, because what's there now has no connection to the original box. We will update this review if the service comes back.
