Google Photos Print Subscription is no longer operating. Google ended the monthly print subscription trial on June 30, 2020, and you cannot sign up for it today. While it ran, it was a small test in the US connected to Google Photos. Each month, Google's machine learning picked a handful of recent shots from your library and printed them on cardstock. You got a small stack of physical photos without having to choose them yourself. Subscribers could steer the picks toward people, landscapes, or a mix, and they could review the selection before it shipped. The appeal was simple. Many people take thousands of phone photos and never print any, and this got a few of them onto the fridge with almost no effort. The drawbacks were just as clear. It was only ever a limited trial, the automatic picks did not always match what people would have chosen, and there was little room to customize the format. The Google Photos site now focuses on free storage, AI editing, automatic organizing, and sharing, and it does not mention a monthly print subscription. If you want regular prints, look for a service that is still operating.
