Geek Fuel

What's in the box: The site doesn't describe a current box, but its featured products are exclusive artist trading cards, hobby boxes with bonus autographs, original tees and designer toys.

Geek Fuel made its name as a monthly mystery box for gamers and pop culture fans, but its website now looks more like a collectibles shop than a subscription service. The front page leads with artist trading cards and exclusive hobby boxes. These include a Steven Rhodes Happy Holidaze card set with a bonus autograph, Mab Graves and Mike Egan artist card boxes made with House of Roulx, and a Bruce Lee 50th Anniversary keepsake case made with EQL. You'll also find original tees, designer toys and themed collections such as Retro Gaming, Monsters, Cowabunga, Strange and Pee Wee. The site doesn't clearly describe a recurring box plan, what it costs or how often it ships. If you want a classic monthly surprise, check what's currently offered before you commit. Geek Fuel stands out for limited, numbered and autographed card products that are hard to find elsewhere. Collectors of offbeat artist cards and retro dark humor will get the most from it. Featured items range from a single art card to a full case costing several hundred dollars, so the shop suits hobbyists with a budget better than casual gift buyers. Support is through a contact page, and terms and privacy policies are posted.
