Older kids and beginners curious about electronics, if it ever reopens

Closed. The website no longer works: it shows a hosting or server error instead of a shop.

What's in the box: A box typically held electronic components, a microcontroller board or parts for one, and instructions for building and coding a single project.

Creation Crate is not operating normally right now: its online store shows an error message saying the store is unavailable instead of a working shop. We could find no closure announcement and no recent news, so it is unclear whether the break is temporary or permanent. Until the shop works again, we do not recommend trying to subscribe or pay for anything. When it was running, Creation Crate sent hands-on electronics and coding projects by mail. Each box was built around one project. Subscribers wired up components and wrote simple programs for a small microcontroller board, following step-by-step instructions. The projects were meant to build skills over time, so later kits assumed some of what earlier ones taught. That made it a good fit for curious older kids, teens, and adult beginners who wanted to learn basic circuits and programming by making things, not just reading about them. The format suited families who liked doing a structured project together, and it gave learners real parts they could reuse. It was less suited to young children who needed simple crafts or quick activities. If you still have an active account or past orders, contact your payment provider about any recurring charges, since the store itself cannot be reached.
