Closed.CircuitMess has stopped selling new STEM Box subscriptions, and the projects are now sold as single kits (date not found).
What's in the box: Each box contained parts and instructions for building one small electronic gadget, plus activities for learning to code it once it was assembled.
CircuitMess STEM Box is no longer operating: the company has stopped selling new subscriptions, and the projects that used to arrive in the box are now sold only as individual kits. CircuitMess is a Zagreb-based maker of DIY electronics kits, and the STEM Box was its subscription option for young builders. Each delivery brought a gadget to assemble from parts, along with instructions and coding activities, so children could learn how electronics work and then program the device they had just built. The appeal was hands-on learning with a real, working result rather than a worksheet. Today the CircuitMess site sells standalone kits aimed at kids, teens and adults. These include NASA-themed kits the company says it is retiring and a programmable NASA Artemis Watch 2.0. The company is also promoting a MAKERphone 2.0 campaign on Kickstarter. There is no recurring box to join, so anyone interested in this kind of project would choose and buy one kit at a time. The site does not say when the subscription ended or how any remaining subscriber deliveries were handled. Because the STEM Box itself is closed, there is nothing to sign up for.
