Buddy Box is no longer operating. The Blurt Foundation CIC, the social enterprise behind it, entered creditors' voluntary liquidation in March 2023 and was dissolved in November 2024. When it ran, Buddy Box was a UK self-care subscription for people living with depression and anxiety. It also gave friends and family a practical way to show they cared. Each box held a small selection of comforting items built around a self-care theme. Sales helped fund Blurt's wider mental health work, which included a blog and plain-language resources on living with depression and supporting others through it. The blurtitout.org domain is live again, but the current site does not appear to be run by the original organisation. It shows generic mental health text alongside a BetterHelp coupon link, investing quotes and recent quote list articles. Nothing on it suggests that Buddy Box orders are being taken or fulfilled. Do not treat the site as a way to buy a box or as a continuation of Blurt's work. If you want something similar, pick a self-care subscription that is currently trading and has a clear history and contact details.
