What's in the box: When it ran, boxes centered on socks and underwear, though specific items and quantities could not be confirmed.
BirdBriefs is not currently operating as a subscription box: its old address, birdbriefs.com, now redirects to Freddy the Frogcaster, an unrelated kids' learning and weather blog. According to our records, BirdBriefs launched in January 2015 as a US-focused subscription service in the socks and underwear category. It aimed to deliver socks and underwear on a recurring basis, so subscribers did not have to shop for basics themselves. We could not confirm details of its plans, sizing, materials or pricing, so we have left those out rather than guess. When we checked the site, the homepage showed posts about crafts, science experiments, baby names and parenting, with no mention of BirdBriefs, its products or its subscribers. We also found no recent activity from the brand and no public closure notice explaining what happened. If you previously subscribed, check your statements for any ongoing charges and contact your card provider about anything you do not recognize. We do not recommend trying to sign up, since there is no working storefront. If you want socks or underwear delivered, look for an active service with a current website and clear terms.
